When any new blogger coming to Blogosphere they started thinking how they can make more money out of it. It’s list concern they are using any blog platform like Blogspot, WordPress.com, Self Hosted WordPress or any other blog media.
The first and foremost love to get revenue out of it is Google Adsense for every blogger. They might be thinking after searching article that They are gonna millionaire soon and will have all luxury in their life. But Actually It is not easy to get handsome money till you understand what’s Myth ?

Bigger is Better
Thousand of site is keep telling you that 728 X 90 or 336 X 280 or 160 X 600 kind of big block will give you more money. The right answer is It will give more probability to get visibility and more option to click but It certain don’t give to handsome money if you are using any big ad display slot. My experience says smarty implemented link ads (Link Unit Ads) many time give you more money compare to big blocks. It’s not like that you must not depend on Big blocks.
Image ads are Good Paymaster
No one knows how Google calculate per click rate well in this case also you might not sure what you will get per click. If you are going with Image Ads there is probability that User will click the ad or not ? I mean user don’t have one choice. If you go with Text ads there is some more option for user to click, still you don’t know which add will be give you more.
What the hell is Link Unit ads ?
I had seen many people just using slandered ads either Text of Image ads. They are completely ignoring Link Unit ads. If you are able to place this link unit ads are on proper page then you might end up with good click and revenue compare to regular ads. Just try this specially put under your regular Menu Bar.
Google can’t tack fraud clicks
When you start blogging and you are not having visitor so naturally not having click on ads at this time or any time when you are not getting more clicks you might feel that let me ask my friends to click on my ads from different Geographical place as well different IPs . Google is smart enough to tract this cheat. Some people are doing practice to ask people to click on ads, Google will block you account soon.
Millionaire in Months
The bigget MYTH or problem with Google Adsense user is that they want to be Millionaire in very short time. They are looking for Secret Formula, Paid Tutorials and hell lot of things. But believe me nothing works until you are not having good traffic. If you want to focus then Focus on Content and Traffic, other things will follow the soon. If ever you are thinking to be Millionaire then kindly do not think about Google Adsense until you have Blog / Site having very huge traffic.

Yes, the most thing is to increase blog traffic, when you have traffic and place the ad in right place with right size, then the google adsense money will come to you.

Thanks for the info regarding the link unit ads because I usually use the 336×280 ads for my blog.
That is very true that so many of adsense publisher don’t know the Link Ad units. I also have used and experienced that Link Unit’s can give you more CTR.
- I strongly suggest everyone to use google custom channels to track performance of the particular adunit, and then based on the comparison matrix find the best one for your blog/site.
